Latvenergo AS Developed Electricity Tripping Map

The electricity tripping map is accessible at www.latvenergo.lv starting with March 8th of this year. The map provides information on planned and emergency tripping. The scale is adjustable so that everyone can focus on the territory of interest. The tripping map is a convenient tool to be used in case of massive faults when a private consumer or a legal entity needs to obtain information about the situation for several properties. The map will substitute as a call to Customer Service as it will be possible to learn quickly about the situation with the electricity supply (for example, at one’s country house or summer cottage).
The map will provide information on the transformer stations with registered electricity supply disturbances at the given moment. The disconnected transformer stations, due to disturbances, will be shown in yellow on the map; therefore, anyone may draw a conclusion about faults in the given territory, an emergency situation or the planned tripping. The map is supplied with a table, providing summarized statistics about the planned and emergency tripping in the municipalities and the number of customers who do not have electricity at any given time.
The following additional information is provided about each transformer station: the location of the transformer station – the municipality, the trip status of the specified transformer station, the total number of customers supplied with electricity from the specified transformer station, the number of disconnected customers at the moment of disturbance and the disconnection starting time, but in the case of a planned disconnection, its end time as well.
The map on the Latvenergo AS homepage is linked to the Dispatcher Service Geographical Information System, ensuring the location of the electricity disturbances in each situation.
