OREANDA-NEWS. March 11, 2011. Igor Rusakevich, Member of the Minsk City Council, First Deputy General Director of SLLC ITERA-Bel, elaborated on this theme at the Efficiency Construction International Conference in the Republic of Belarus: Modern Technologies for Energy Saving. The Conference was held in Minsk. Known energy saving experts participated in the Conference. They were from Belarus, Russia and Ukraine, and included representatives of state and non-governmental organizations. They discussed key issues related to implementation of efficient technologies in construction in Belarus, perfection of legal environment in this area, professional skill improvement programs for specialists to be retained for implementation of energy saving state programs.
In fact, all projects that are being currently implemented by developer companies of ITERA International Group of Companies in Russia, Belarus and Turkmenistan include an energy saving component.
Two hippodrome complexes are to be commissioned soon in Turkmenistan. There, in addition to numerous latest technologies used during the construction, illumination systems with solar batteries along the entire perimeter of individual territories (about 50 hectares each) have been installed. This technology allowed to give up using cable lines and to economize on operational expenses of hippodromes.
Architectural and design decisions of the office building for Organizing Committee of the XXII Olympic Winter Games and the XI Para-Olympic Winter Games of 2014 which is being constructed by ITERA in Sochi, meet the world "green standards" and employ the latest technologies in the area of ecological safety and energy efficiency.
Parus (Sail), an apartment building, would be the first business-class ecological house of the Company in Minsk. By the way, this 32-storeyed building gave a start to construction of high-rise buildings in Belarus. Efficient construction will be an obvious advantage of apartment houses and public buildings (over 2.5 million sq. m) of Minsk-City, a new city-area constructed by ITERA International Group of Companies at an area of 318 hectares. Construction of that area in the center of the capital city of Belarus is to be complete within 12 years.
