OREANDA-NEWS. March 11, 2011. The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) initiated a case against the Inter-Regional Office of the Federal Service for Alcohol Market Regulation (Roslalcoholregulirovanie) in the Central Federal District upon the signs of violating Part 1 Article 15 of the Federal Law “On Protection of Competition”, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

The case was initiated upon a complaint of “Denview Limited” CJSC about actions of the Inter-Regional Office of Roslalcoholregulirovanie in the Central Federal District, which repeatedly refused to consider applications for renewing the license for purchase, storage and delivery of alcohol products earlier than 18 days before the license expired.

FAS Russia believes that о the Inter-Regional Office of Roslalcoholregulirovanie in the Central Federal District puts unreasonable restrictions on the time limit for applications, which is also contrary to the Federal Law “On State Regulation of Production and Sale of Ethanol, and Alcohol and Alcohol-Containing Products”.

The case is scheduled on 6th April 2011.
