OREANDA-NEWS. March 10, 2011. Belarusian companies’ budget arrears decreased 44.9% in December 2010 to 32 billion Belarusian rubles (Br) as of January 1, 2011, an official with Belarus’ Statistics stated.

In January-December, budget arrears fell 45.5%.

Of all arrears, charged but unpaid VAT fell 51.3% in December to 13.1 billion rubles, a fall of 53.9% from January 1, 2010.

Land payment arrears were at 4.8 billion rubles, a fall of 44.8% in December and increase of 11.6% in January-December.

Property tax arrears reached 4 billion rubles, down 31% in December, a decrease of 18.4% in 2010.

Profit tax arrears amounted to 2.7 billion rubles, down 56.5% in December. Since January 1, profit tax arrears decreased 30.8%.

Excise tax arrears reached 0.9 billion rubles, down 47.1% in December and down 57.1% in January-December.

Deferred tax payments to the state budget went down 0.8% in December 2010 to 257.6 billion rubles.
