Cherkizovo Group OJSC (LSE: CHE), one of Russia’s leading integrated and diversified meat producers, is pleased to announce that one of its poultry brands has won a gold medal award at the national "Frozen Products 2011" awards in Russia, reported the press-centre of Cherkizovo Group.

Cherkizovo’s Chicken Kingdom (Kurinoe Tsarstvo) brand, which produces high quality chilled and frozen poultry meat, was awarded a gold medal in the "Poultry Meat" category for its frozen chicken breast product.

Winners of categories received the most votes for their products from specialists within the frozen product industry. More than 50 companies, competing in 80 categories took part in the contest, which is now in its fourth year.
