TATNEFT Received Free Oil Inflow in Nenets Autonomous Okrug
OREANDA-NEWS. March 10, 2011. TATNEFT received the free oil inflow with eight mm choke production in the amount of of 240 m3/day during the work on the re-commissioning of the North Khayakhinskaya well number 1 from the Asselian-Sakmarian sediments of the Lower Perm, reported the press-centre of TATNEFT.
TATNEFT acquired the North-Khayahinsky area in the Nenets Autonomous Okrugin 2006 for the purpose of hydrocarbons exploration and production.
In the Russian Federation TATNEFT Company and 8 of its subsidiaries perform prospecting, exploration and development activities in Samara, Orenburg and Ulyanovsk regions, the Nenets Autonomous Okrug and the Republic of Kalmykia. Under the terms of license agreements 59 exploration and 33 development wells were drilled in the areas under development. 10 fields were discovered as a result of geological exploration activities in the license areas outside of the Republic of Tatarstan.
In 2011, it is planned to continue prospecting/exploration and fields development activities in the framework of the investment program, including drilling of 27 new wells.
