OREANDA-NEWS. March 9, 2011. Sergey Tishchenko has been appointed General Director of IC Ingosstrakh-Life ltd since March 1, 2011. In this position his main challenge will be to ensure sales growth and increase significantly the market share, occupied by the company.

Sergey Tishchenko was born in 1959 in Korolev, Moscow Region. In 1981 he graduated from the Military Engineering Institute n.a. A.F. Mozhaiskiy with a gold medal. In 1995, Sergey Tishchenko also graduated from the State University Higher School of Economics (Master of Economics).

Mr. Tishchenko has been working in financial sector since 1993. During 1993-1998 he successively held positions of expert, Head of Division, Head of Department, Vice-President, and First Vice-President of Mezhkombank. During 1998-1999 he was in a post as First Deputy Chairman of the Moseksimbank Board, during 1999-2004 – as President of the Russian National Commercial Bank (RNCB), in 2005 held a position of General Director of Lizinbiznesprom ltd.

Sergey Tishchenko joined the insurance industry in 2005 when he was appointed the Finance Director of Moscow Insurance Company, where he had been working until 2006. During 2006-2007 Mr. Tishchenko was in a post of CEO of Insurance Company Standard-Reserve CJSC, during 2007-2009 he simultaneously perform the duties of CEO of Moscow Insurance Company and General Director of MSK-Standard Insurance CJSC (formerly Standard-Reserve). During 2009-2010 he held a position of the First Vice-President of Holding Company Insurance Group MSK.

Based on the results of companies’ performance hosted by Sergey Tishchenko, in 2008 he became the laureate of the Top 1000 most professional managers of Russia (11th rating position in the field of insurance).

As noted by S. Tishchenko, first and foremost, I consider it necessary to refer the main efforts to regeneration of effective interaction between company’s selling offices, hosted by me, and the relevant departments of Ingosstrakh OJSIC.
