JSC “SITRONICS” (LSE:SITR), the leading supplier of solutions in the field of telecommunications, information technology and microelectronics in Russia and CIS countries, informs that the subsidiary company OJSC NIIME and Mikron has produced and supplied RFID transportation tickets for the public transport of Istanbul.

The customer was a Turkish system integrator Belbim, supporting the operation of the automated payment system of various means of transport in Istanbul.The volume of shipment of the land transport tickets for Istanbul transport system was 2,42 mln pieces. Mikron’s transportation RFID cards with the microchip for one and two rides were made on paper and meet the international standard ISO 14443A.

OJSC NIIME and Mikron is the largest manufacturer of RFID cards and tags with microchip in Russia and CIS. Annually Mikron produces up to 300 mln RFID tickets. Mikron is a supplier of RFID transportation cards for the Russian transportation systems in Moscow, Kazan, Saint-Petersburg, Magnitogorsk, Tyumen, Nizhni-Novgorod and other Russian cities. Besides the transportation cards with RFID technology, Mikron produces the tickets for entertainment events, ski passes for ski resorts of Moscow region, Elbrus, Caucasus tags for registration of library funds and other types of products.
