JSW Steel Posts 8% Growth in Crude Steel Production

OREANDA-NEWS. March 9, 2011. JSW Steel Ltd reported a growth of 8% in crude steel production for the month of February 2011, compared to the corresponding month in the last financial year.

The break-up of the production numbers is as follows:

JSW Steel Ltd, belonging to JSW Group, and part of the O P Jindal Group, is one of the lowest cost steel producers in the world. The Group has diversified interests in mining, carbon steel, power, industrial gases, port facilities, aluminum, cement, and information technology.

JSW Steel is engaged in the manufacture of both flat and long steel products - viz. HR coils, CR coils, galvanized products, auto grade/white goods grade CRC steel, and bars and rods.
