OREANDA-NEWS. March 09, 2011. "Central enterprises' service to Shanghai World Expo" awards ceremony was held by SASAC in Beijing, reported the press-centre of Baosteel.

Under the correct leadership of Party central committee and the State Council and in accordance with unified and coordinated deployment of the SASAC, the central enterprises actively participated in the 2010 Shanghai World Expo with a high sense of responsibility and mission. They made great contributions to a successful, splendid and memorable World Expo and many units and individuals who were innovative and made sacrifice came out.

Baosteel Group Co., Ltd. won the award of outstanding contribution for its participation in  2010 Shanghai Expo. Baosteel Development Co., Ltd. Expo Party member team and Baosteel Group Co., Ltd. Corporate Culture Department (Public Relations) were named advanced groups in their participation in 2010 Shanghai Expo. Ouyang Yingpeng, Pu Kangguo, Fu Shuizhong, Jiang Qingdi and Zuo Sen were named advanced individuals in their participation in 2010 Shanghai Expo.

Baosteel Group vice chairman and Party secretary Liu Guosheng accepted the awards on behalf of Baosteel.
