OREANDA-NEWS. March 5, 2011. Ingosstrakh OIJSC has paid 1.7 mln. rubles to Shchigryagroservis LLC located in Shchigrovsky district of Kursk region in connection with the destruction of harvest.

Under the agreement, the harvest of winter wheat within the area of 1,600 hectares was insured against destruction or partial loss for the total sum of over 11 mln. rubles.

The insurance event was an unfavorable natural phenomenon – a drought, which resulted in partial loss of the crop harvest. To establish the amount of loss, it was necessary to hold an expert examination, which showed that the event was an insurance event and Ingosstrakh OJSIC has paid a full insurance indemnity to the company.
