OREANDA-NEWS. March 05, 2011. The Bank of East Asia (“BEA”) today announces the launch of its new premium credit card, the BEA SupremeGold World MasterCard. To celebrate the launch of the new card, BEA is providing a series of exclusive offers for new and existing SupremeGold customers, reported the press-centre of Bank of East Asia.

The BEA SupremeGold World MasterCard is available pre-approved to all SupremeGold customers. BEA SupremeGold World MasterCardholders are entitled to an extensive range of premium offers and privileges throughout the year1, including airport transfer limousine service at a fixed rate of HKD250 per trip, double Bonus Points for overseas spending, a special conversion rate of 8 Bonus Points to 1 Asia Mile with a handling fee waiver, and two free 12-day travel insurance plans for individuals or family members annually.

From now until 30th June, 2011, customers who join SupremeGold during the promotional period and meet certain account opening requirements will receive HKD800 in BEA SupremeGold World MasterCard free spending credit as a welcome gift.

Existing SupremeGold customers will receive HKD 100 in BEA SupremeGold World MasterCard free spending credit when they open a new securities sub-account for the first time during the promotional period.

What’s more, both new and existing SupremeGold customers can enjoy a time deposit interest rate of up to 1% p.a.2 and will receive up to HKD 500 in BEA SupremeGold World MasterCard free spending credit when placing 3-month or 6-month HKD, CNY, or USD time deposits with new funds3 worth HKD 500,000 or more (the initial HKD 500,000 required to open a new SupremeGold Account will not be counted towards this offer).

Additional free spending credit will be offered for every subsequent placement of new funds worth HKD 100,000, with no upper limit. Customers who place time deposits with new funds totaling HKD 5,000,000 or more will also receive an engraved 18-bottle wine cellar worth HKD 2,400.

Apart from these time deposit offers, SupremeGold customers can also enjoy special offers and discounts on the Renminbi exchange, fund subscriptions, insurance plans, and medical check-up plans.
