OREANDA-NEWS. March 05, 2011. Ukraine and Luxembourg intensify bilateral cooperation. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov said that at a meeting with the Chairman of the Chamber of Deputies of Luxembourg Laurent Mosar.

"We are interested in contacts at all levels. We are interested in enhancing cooperation with companies of your country, in implementation of joint projects in industry, energy, telecommunications and other sectors", Mykola Azarov emphasized.

The Prime Minister of Ukraine invited the Prime Minister of Luxembourg to visit Ukraine. In addition, to encourage trade and economic cooperation, the parties agreed on the visit of Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade of Luxembourg to Ukraine.

In addition, the parties agreed to accelerate work on the coordination of positions on convention on double taxation avoiding.

However, Ukraine and Luxembourg intensify cultural and scientific exchange. In particular, the proposal of the Luxembourg side, Mykola Azarov charged the Ministry of Education to study the exchange of students between universities of Kyiv and Luxembourg.

"Our Government and the Parliament considers Ukraine as very important country. We hope that after this visit, our cooperation will develop more intensively. For us, Ukraine is of high priority", Laurent Mosar said. He added that Luxembourg fully supports the European aspirations of Ukraine.
