OREANDA-NEWS. March 05, 2011. As per the results of 2010, “Unibank” preserved its leading position at the banking market by the term deposits volume and occupied the first place by financial means stability coefficient. By 01.01.2011 the term deposits of the Bank exceeded 68 milliard drams, out of which 63% - deposits from physical persons, reported the press-centre of Unibank. 

The share of term deposits in the total liabilities of the Bank overpassed 68%. The volume of demand liabilities made 12.4 milliard drams showing growth by 23.2% for the last quarter of 2010. The lion’s share in the structure of demand liabilities - 8.8 milliard drams – covers those of juridical persons. The volume of total liabilities of the Bank exceeded 99.5 milliard drams, and the deposits size – 80 milliard drams.

The positive dynamics of indices and continuous flow of depositors mean that confidence in “Unibank” keeps on high level. Growing of customers’ database and strengthening of competitive positions is made via providing service quality on the level of the best banking standards, promotion of technological banking products oriented for different strata of customers and cross-sales development.

The Bank accentuates branch network expansion including regional. This year 8 new territorial subdivisions are scheduled to open thus making the number of branches 42.

2010 became successful for Unibank in the sphere of currency operations as well. The net income from currency operations made 1.4 milliard drams that is the best index in the banking system of RA.

The reliability of the Bank is proved also by Moody’s Investors Service. In 2010 the international rating agency issued “Unibank” financial stability rating E+, long-term rating Ba3 and short-term rating  NP on deposits in national and foreign currency. All the ratings have prognosis “Stable”.
