OREANDA-NEWS. March 04, 2011. Working at their usual rate, the automobile plant and other production departments of KAMAZ overfulfilled their production target for February having produced more marketable products against additional orders.

As a result, the assembly conveyors of the company produced over 3.5 thousand vehicle sets. This is by 55% better than the result of February, 2010. Since the beginning of the current year, almost 5.9 thousand vehicle sets have been made, which is by 49% more than for the first two months of the last year. In February, additional orders were received for production of 360 vehicles.

More than 3,600 engines and power units were produced at the mother engine assembly conveyor of KAMAZ-Diesel and at CUMMINS KAMA Russian-American Joint Venture, a member of KAMAZ’s technological cycle, and shipped to the automobile plant and other customers. It is better than the last year’s performance almost by 50%. Since the beginning of the year, these enterprises have produced 6,400 units of their basic products, which is by 44% more than in 2010.

Also, more and more automobile spare parts are being produced and shipped to customers. In February, total volumes of their deliveries made 843 million roubles against 550 million roubles in January.

Working ahead of schedule, the plants and departments ramp up manufacture of diversified products too.
