BCSE Informs about Foreign Currency Trade Totals in February 2011
OREANDA-NEWS. March 4, 2011. The BCSE informs about the foreign currency trade totals in February 2011.
The transaction turnover in February 2011 amounted to Br 4 272.70 billion (Br 3 833.90 billion in January 2011). The February trade volume increased 11.4 % compared to January.
USD 906.17 million, RUB 7 233.69 million, EUR 190.37 million and other currency amounting to Br 11 109.42 million in equivalent were sold at the trades.
The unit weight of foreign currency in the trade volume was USD – 64.0 %, RUB –17.4%, EUR –18.3 %, and other currencies –0.3 %.
Average daily transaction volume amounted to USD 47.69 million, RUB 380.72 million and EUR 9.52 million.
February quotations changed as follows: RUB +2.14 points, USD +7.00 points, EUR +58.00 points.
