OREANDA-NEWS. March 03, 2011. OJSC PO Barrikada (a subsidiary of LSR Group) has signed a contract to acquire 85.94% of OJSC Obukhov plant of building materials and structures, reported the press-centre of LSR Group.

OJSC Obukhov plant of building materials and structures, founded in 1973, is now one of the largest reinforced concrete producers in St. Petersburg. It produces a wide range of reinforced concrete items for residential, industrial, commercial and infrastructure construction. The plant also produces ready-mix concrete. According to the market research agency Resheniye, Obukhov plant of building materials and structures is one of the five leading reinforced concrete producers in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region, while PO Barrikada is the largest one.

Annual production capacity of the plant with one-shift working day is 35 th cub.m of reinforced concrete and 90 th cub.m of ready-mix concrete. The plant also has its own transportation vehicles. Currently the plant has 340 employees.

The plant is located on the area of 6.5 ha: 6 ha are freehold, the rest is leasehold.
