OREANDA-NEWS. March 03, 2011. State Environmental Inspection of Lviv Oblast fined City utility "Mykolayivvodokanal" for pollution of the river Dniester. Mykolaiv company is claimed of voluntary compensation in amount of one million 986 thousand UAH.

Pollution fact was installed by inspection and results of laboratory studies conducted by specialists of Environmental Inspection in Lviv region.

Excess discharge of sewage by " Mykolayivvodokanal " lasted from March 17, till December 24, 2010 and led to pollution of surface of waters of the river Dniester.
