IDGC North-West to Develop Innovative Program

Central Tender Committee of IDGC North-West was formed, consisting of 15 persons. Taras Zaichko deputy director for logistics became a Chairman of the committee.
As priority, the Board of Directors has identified the development of innovative development program. The program should be developed and presented to the Board of Directors in June 2011.
The aim of the Program is to make conditions for creation of high-tech equipment and the promotion of advanced technologies for Distribution Grid Companies. The program will be developed for 6 years with regard to its integration into the strategy of "Holding IDGC".
The major component of this project will be financing of researches and experimental development. The Board of directors instructed to provide R & D spending in the business plan of IDGC North-West in 2011 at a rate of 2% of own revenue, in 2012 - 2,5%, from 2013 - 3%.
In January 2011, the Board of Directors of “Holding IDGC" has approved the main items of innovation development program for 2011-2016. Its main points are the costs optimization, reducing of costs, increasing of reliability of the grid complex.
