OREANDA-NEWS. March 02, 2011. As part of the current investment program, the Bratsk Branch of OJSC Ilim Group received two new locomotives made by the Bryansk Machine Works. The cost of one locomotive approximates 40 million rubles.

The modern locomotives of TM18-DM make were manufactured with due regard for all the requirements specified by the customer, the Bratsk Branch of Ilim Group’s transportation company. Special attention was paid to the specific features of railway tracks at the Bratsk Branch: significant curves, slopes and sharp rises.

The locomotives have already been delivered to the locomotive depot of the Branch. They are currently being prepared for shunting operations at the production site and will be transporting cargo within the mill.
