Gazprom and A. P. Moller-Maersk Group Discussed Cooperation Prospects
OREANDA-NEWS. March 02, 2011. The Gazprom headquarters hosted today a working meeting between Alexander Ananenkov, Deputy Chairman of the Company's Management Committee and Klaus Rud Sejling, Vice President of A. P. Moller-Maersk Group.
The parties addressed the opportunities for cooperation deepening to ensure year-round well drilling in northern offshore fields.
During the negotiations it was suggested forming a bilateral group of experts to develop cooperation proposals in this regard.
Moreover, it was stressed that Russian shipbuilding companies had to be involved in developing the partnership on special equipment and machinery production to enable year-round well construction in the Arctic.
