OREANDA-NEWS. March 02, 2011. The biggest amount – 6.69 million leis - was earned from sale of the 88.026% shareholding of the Incorgaz JSC (gas networks construction), the Agency for Public Property rerpoted.

Over 4.37 million leis were received from sale of 92.5% of shares of the tobacco factory Nordtutun (Cupcini) and about 4.8 million leis – from sale of the 31.9% shareholding of the Chisinau Monttehsan JSC. Somewhat more than 100 thousand leis were earned from sale of 13.848% of the state’s shares in the joint Moldovan-Luxembourg enterprise producing oil Volatil-West Company.

The state’s shares in 33 joint-stock companies from different sectors of economy were put up for sale. Shareholdings in 18 companies constituted over 50% of the authorized capital and in the rest of companies – from 0.457% to 45.065%. Most shareholdings were put up for auctions several times, that is why their starting cost was reduced.

This year, Moldova plans to get 280 million leis of privatization incomes. In 2010, receipts from privatization and sale of public property were below 100 million leis, while it was planned to get 430 million leis.
