OREANDA-NEWS. March 02, 2011. The Russian Bank for Development and the Republic of Adygeia have signed a cooperation agreement in the area of SME support. The agreement was signed by Sergey Krjukov, CEO of RBD and Mahmud Tlehas, Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Adygeia during their working meeting in the permanent mission of the republic in Moscow, reported the press-centre of RBD.

The meeting of the Head of RBD and the Minister of the Republic of Adygeia dealt with the matters of cooperation in the area of business development in the region, investment climate creation as well as implementation of the state SME lending support program in the republic. The agreement provides for building up the size of SME lending via the banks and infrastructure support entities in the region. Moreover RBD intends to draw up proposals for establishing new infrastructure support entities (leasing and factoring companies and micro-finance funds) and to assist in implementation of innovative and modernization projects of SMEs in the priority sectors of the economy in Adygeia.

“RBD accentuates on implementation of the SME Lending Support Program in the RF member entities. In this regard RBD actively cooperates with regional authorities since only regional bodies are completely aware of the investment climate and of the SME demands. RBD Program will be implemented in Adygeia with involvement of the bank and infrastructure support entities both existing and newly established”, pointed out S.Krjukov.
