OREANDA-NEWS. March 01, 2011. SOCAR management held a meeting led by Company’s President Mr. Rovnag Abdullayev. SOCAR President spoke about latest achievements, implemented socio-economic and ecological projects, as well as operations of the Company expanding within the country and in the international arena. He pointed out high-level management and strengthening human resources potential. He noted that SOCAR Vice-President on social issues Mr. Gorkhmaz Huseynov had been appointed the chairman of Azersu OJSC, in accordance to the country President’s order.

SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev said that Mr. Huseynov's appointment at Azersu was a sign of a high level of confidence in SOCAR staff. Then he said Mr. Badal Badalov had been appointed SOCAR vice president for social issues, in accordance to the country President’s order. Mr. Badalov was head of SOCAR Social Development Department.

He also gave commissions on social programs to newly-appointed vice president. Mr. Abdullayev told Mr. Soltan Aliyev, vice president for ecology, had been released from his post in order to move to another position.
