Rating Agency Moodys Confirmed Credit Ratings of Belarusbank
OREANDA-NEWS. March 1, 2011. As a result of outlook of Belarusbank's activity international rating agency Moody's Investors Service Ltd on February 22, 2011 confirmed international credit ratings at the same level:

Moody's confirmed a standalone Bank Financial Strength Rating of E+ to Belarusbank, which translates into a B2 Baseline Credit Assessment. The rating is constrained by the bank's dominant market position as the country's largest bank by assets, capital and retail deposits, as well as its assets quality which partly secured by the government's local authorities guaranties.
Moody's assigns a long-term global local currency deposit rating of B1. The rating reflects the very high probability of systemic support in case of a stress situation and takes into account majority state ownership and dominant position of Belarusbank in the country's banking system.
