OREANDA-NEWS. March 1, 2011. Belarus is ready to supply to Ukraine 6,000 tonnes of dry milk, 18,000 tonnes of butter and 100,000 tonnes of beet sugar in 2011, the press service of the Agriculture Ministry told.

The matter of food supplies were addressed by Belarusian Agriculture Minister Mikhail Rusy and Deputy Minister for Agrarian Policy of Ukraine Igor Yakubovich.

ZAO Meat and milk company will act as the single supplier on behalf of Belarus.

Belarus is ready to supply 25,000 tonnes of sugar from beet of last year’s harvest and 75,000 tonnes of sugar from this year’s harvest.

Ukraine has also suggested supplying up to 10,000 tonnes of pork to Belarus in 2011.
