OREANDA-NEWS. February 28 2011. Three biggest payments to corporate clients made by Allianz Ukraine Ins.Co. under motor hull insurance agreements in Ukraine in January amounted to UAH 485,370.

A loss event involving the insured Kenworth T8 truck occurred on the motor way Rohatyn-Khondoriv. Blinded by distant lights of the vehicle moving opposite to it, the driver lost control of the truck. As a result, the truck ran into the vehicle in front. In a traffic accident the Kenworth T8 got damaged in the hood and cab area, the front bumper and the windscreen were damaged. Insurance indemnity for the damaged vehicle amounted to UAH 187,600.

A loss event involving a VOLVO FM 455 truck tractor occurred on the Okruzhna Road in Kyiv. A KAMAZ truck that was driving in front of the truck tractor was cut off on the right by another car and braked hard running into the insured vehicle. The windscreen, the roof and the right side part of the truck tractor cab got damaged. Allianz Ukraine Ins.Co. paid out to the owner an insurance indemnity of UAH 242,161.

A loss event involving Skoda Fabia owned by a legal entity occurred on the motor way Kyiv-Kharkiv-Dovzhansky. When braking the car was hit by the vehicle following in the rear and it ran into the vehicle standing in front. As a result of the traffic accident the front and the rear bumper, the cab, the deck lid and the back lamp of the Skoda Fabia got damaged. Insurance indemnity amounted to UAH 55,609.
