OREANDA-NEWS. February 28 2011. The System Operator approved of PT-85/100-130-13 turbine of Plant No. 1 remarking and attested capacity of Minusinsk CHP as equal to 85 MW.

It was reconstruction of PT-80 turbine of Minusinsk CHP undertaken during May-August 2010 that enabled the capacity increase.

The turbine reconstruction is one of the investment projects of JSC “Yenisei TGC (TGC-13)”. The reconstruction was aimed at increase in installed capacity, improvement of economic parameters and enhancement of consumer power supply reliability.

After the turbine reconstruction annual electrical energy output will be increased by approximately 36 mln kWh to be 549 mln kWh following the year results (as per the budget program approved of).

During the current year JSC “Yenisei TGC (TGC-13)” is to complete implementation of another investment project, that for construction of a new 185 MW power unit at Krasnoyarsk CHP-3. Additionally, the Company has launched implementation of investment projects for reconstruction of Power Unit 7 of Nazarovo GRES envisaging 15 MW capacity enhancement and construction of a new 120 MW power unit at Abakan CHP.
