Renaissance Capital Launches Research App for iPad
OREANDA-NEWS. February 28 2011. Renaissance Capital, the leading emerging market investment bank, announces the launch of RenCapApp, the company’s research app, which gives Apple iPad and iPhone users full access to Renaissance’s award-winning research. Renaissance is the first emerging market investment firm to release its own app.
Developed with worldflow Research, a leading provider of software and consulting for investment research and financial data distribution, the RenCapApp makes Renaissance’s entire research library available through the iPad and iPhone and delivers daily updates from Renaissance’s analysts and economists. Subscribers can quickly reference research when they are away from their computers, and seamlessly move from reading reports to contacting authors for additional information.
Uniquely, the app also offers a saved-search function, which remembers users’ interests and tracks reports published. Tracked research is automatically downloaded and is available for reading when users are offline – for example, when they are flying.
“As an emerging market research leader, we are proud to lead in technology as well,” said David Nangle, head of Equity Research at Renaissance Capital. “The delivery of our award-winning research to our clients and other subscribers on the iPad and iPhone will make it easier to access our in-depth, on-the-ground research practically anywhere.”
Steve Jarrett, the director of worldflow, said, "wordflow Research brings together the best in internet and customer-service technologies, to allow research providers to capitalise on the ever-growing demand for content via iPads and iPhones. We are delighted that Renaissance Capital has adopted our technology as another channel to distribute its award-winning research, and the smart built-in functionality will add real value for its clients, whatever their location."
iPhone and iPad users can download the app for free from the Apple App Store. The RenCapApp is available only to Renaissance Research subscribers.
