OREANDA-NEWS. February 28 2011. Renaissance Capital, the leading emerging markets investment bank, announces that Gene Zabezhinsky has joined the company as a director in the Equity Products Group.

Mr. Zabezhinsky, who will be based in Moscow, will work with the Central Strategy Unit team, focusing on idea generation, specialist sales to alpha-demanding corporate and institutional clients, desk tactical research and Equity Capital Markets deal positioning.

A native Russian speaker, Mr. Zabezhinsky joins Renaissance from Morgan Stanley, where he was a director overseeing all aspects of equities and cross asset sales, focusing on fixed income and distress debt opportunities.

Mr. Zabezhinsky will report to Yonatan Gozdanker, Global Head of Cash Equities.
