OREANDA-NEWS. February 25, 2011. LLC “UC Siberian Generating Company” has concluded General Contractor Contracts for design, construction and supplies on “turnkey” conditions for two facilities: Power Unit 7 of Nazarovo GRES and the new unit of Abakan CHP of JSC “Yenisei TGC (TGC-13)”.

Technical re-equipment of Power Unit 7 of Nazarovo GRES envisaging 15 MW capacity enhancement and construction of a new power unit at Abakan CHP providing for 120 MW new capacity commissioning are carried out by “Yenisei TGC” within the framework of the latter’s Power Supply Contracts.

JSC “Krasnoyarskenergospetsremont” (JSC “KESR”) recently renamed to be JSC “Sibirenergoengineering” has been selected the facilities General Contractor.

General Contractor is a specialized construction-and-engineering organization availing of the resources, technologies, business ties, knowledge and skills required for the work performance. Additionally, JSC “Sibirenergoengineering” has unique experience in energy facilities construction. The Contractor undertakes to perform the whole array of works required for design and construction of the facilities referred to. JSC “Sibirenergoengineering” will also provide for supplies of the equipment and materials required.

Works under the contracts for technical re-equipment of Power Unit 7 of Nazarovo GRES and construction of a new power unit at Abakan CHP are to be completed by November 1, 2012 and October 1, 2013 accordingly.

All the works will be performed on “turnkey” conditions. Within the contracted timeframe General Contractor undertakes to ensure the whole array of works and transfer the facilities to the customer assembled, equipped, warranty tested, connected to the external infrastructure and commissioned.
