Mazda's total domestic production volume in January 2011 decreased 0.6% year-on-year due to reduced production of commercial vehicles.

2. Overseas Production

Posting a year-on-year increase for the twentieth consecutive month, Mazda's overseas production volume in January 2011 improved 28.7% on January 2010, reflecting healthy production of passenger vehicles.

Mazda's registered vehicle market share was 6.0% (up 0.1 points year-on-year), with a 3.2% share of the micro-mini segment (down 0.2 points year-on-year) and a 4.9% total market share (down 0.1 points year-on-year).
