OREANDA-NEWS. February 25, 2011. Recently, TISCO signs a contract about carbon steel plate supply with one state grid company, it marks that the product enter the state grid UHV engineering for the first time, reported the press-centre of TISCO.

During "the 12th five-year" period, China will invest 500 billion Yuan in the construction of "three vertical and three transverse" UHV AC backbone racks and 11 UHV DC power supply project. The construction of this project will bring huge steel demand.

To seize this opportunity, from 2009, TISCO organized Technology and Marketing Department to conduct deep research and established business connection with relevant responsible units of State Grid as well as some large steel pipe plants and iron tower factories.

With careful preparation, on November 2010, TISCO passed the State Grid authentication, becoming one of the first batch of carbon steel plate qualified suppliers, stepped out the first step of supplying to ultra-high voltage engineering.
