Government of Ukraine Has not Allocated Money to Banks
OREANDA-NEWS. February 25, 2011. From May to November 2009, the Government of Yulia Tymoshenko at state funds expense has bought shares of JSCB "Kyiv", JSC "Ukreximbank, "Rodovid Bank" and AB "Ukrgazbank" totalling 19.6 billion UAH.
In addition, January and February 2010 additional capitalization was aimed for PJSC Ukreximbank at 6.4 billion UAH.
CRD audited Bank "Kyiv", "Rodovid Bank" and JSB "UGB", the audit revealed numerous violations of the law at public funds using, including: unreasonable loans, payment of questionable legal and advisory services in large amounts, sale of fixed assets on low prices and more.
Thus, the financial position of these banks continued to be deteriorated.
Government of Mykola Azarov has taken no decisions on additional capitalization of banks and no penny of the budget funds were not spent for these purposes.
Therefore, any statement of Yulia Tymoshenko on Government Mykola Azarov decision-making to allocate 3.5 billion UAH for "Nadra" bank are baseless and those that are not true.
