OREANDA-NEWS. February 24, 2011. Belarus’ consumer prices went up 1.4% on the month in January 2011, compared with 1% in December 2010, an official in the National Statistics Committee told.

Food prices rose 2.1% in January 2011, non-food prices went up 0.3%, and consumer services prices increased 1.4%.

In 2010, inflation accelerated 9.9%. The forecast for 2011 stands at 7.5%-8.5%.
