OREANDA-NEWS. February 24, 2011. Belarus’ gross domestic product (GDP) expanded 7.4% on the year in January 2011 to 12.043 trillion Belarusian rubles (Br), an official with Belarus’ National Statistics Committee told.

Industrial output in January increased 6.4% on the year to 14.97 trillion rubles.

Farm output rose 6.1% to 1.539 trillion rubles.

In 2010, Belarus’ GDP grew 7.6% on the year to 163 trillion Belarusian rubles. Industrial output amounted to 161.9 trillion rubles, up 11.3% on the year. Farm output increased 2% to 30.8 trillion rubles.
