OREANDA-NEWS. February 24, 2011. Representatives of Ingosstrakh OJSIC participated in the II International Aviation Insurance in Russia Conference held in Moscow.

This event held by the Russian Association of Aviation and Space Insurers with the support of Ingosstrakh OJSIC attracted representatives of air carriers, airports, Russian and foreign insurers, insurance and re-insurance broker, consulting and legal firms, flight personnel trade unions, public authorities and public associations, as well as the leading experts in the field of air incidents examination and settlement.

The leading Russian and international aviation insurers reported at the conference. The participants discussed top issues that are relevant for the Russian and international markets of air insurance, and issues in air carriers and insurers cooperation, legal regulation of air carrier liability in Russia, insured protection of the flight personnel, and case studies of claim settlement.

Sergey Zakroyschikov, Deputy Head of Corporate Department of Ingosstrakh OJSIC, reported on preparation for the second reading of a bill “On Compulsory Carrier Third Party Damage Liability Insurance” and described the changes in the bill proposed by the deputies, insurers, and transportation carrier unions.
