OREANDA-NEWS. February 24, 2011. Baosteel Resources Co., Ltd. signed 2011 chromium iron purchase agreement with Indian FACOR Group, a consecutive second year of such long-term agreement, reported the press-centre of Baosteel.

Indian FACOR Group, integrating diversified industries of mines, refinery and power generation, owns the largest Indian ferroalloy plant and four affiliated chromium mines; its annual output of high-carbon chromium iron reaches 140,000 tons. 

According to agreement, FACOR Group would ensure stable and qualified high-carbon chromium iron supply to Baosteel. Focused on establishing long-term partnership, the agreement is important in safeguarding chromium iron supply. Both sides also discussed on overseas resource exploration, coal coke and reached new common ground for future in-depth cooperation relationship.
