OREANDA-NEWS. February 22, 2011. In accordance with the orders of RF Federal Tariffs Service (RF FTS) of November 22, 2010 No.331-s/6 and No. 332-s/7, Sibirtelecom, OJSC changes tariffs for the services of local, intra-zone telephone communication and for the service of national telegram cabling from February 01, 2011.

Tariffs for local communication services will be adjusted according to the index of 8.6% on average. The services of providing subscriber’s lines and all tariff plans for providing local telephone connection will be changed except the “Unlimited” one, where the tariff will remain in the amount of 220 rubles per month. The “Unlimitedplus” and “New Unlimited” tariff plans will not be changed either. 

The tariff for the service of providing intra-zone telephone connection will remain at the same level, while an additional tariff plan will be introduced, which will make it possible to make regional phone calls for a fixed amount without any limitations.

There will be changes in the tariffs for the service of national telegram transmission (within Russia). The tariffs will increase on average by 25%.

Indexation of tariffs for the services of local telephone communication has to bring the size of tariff plans to the level of economically feasible expenses of providing them. The tariffs will be changed based on specific characteristic of regions, and the indexation percent will not exceed the inflation level specified in the forecast of social and economic development of the Russian Federation for 2011.
