OREANDA-NEWS. February 22, 2011. According to the results of 2010, Sibirtelecom became the winner of 256 tenders for government contracts for the total amount of 508.55 mln rubles.

During this year the company actively worked with the biggest government customers, the list of which includes federal and regional authorities, subdivisions of RF Pension Fund, power structures (Department of Internal Affairs, FSB, Ministry of Internal Affairs, Armed Forces of the Russian Federation), etc.

“Sibirtelecom executes big government projects that include informatization of authorities, such national projects as “Education” and “Universal Communication Service”, participation in the “Electronic Government” project, - said Ivan Dadykin, General Director of Sibirtelecom, OJSC. The possibility to offer customers the most optimal technological solutions, implementation terms, parameters of quality of the provided services, as well as participation in tenders held in the form of electronic tenders. Due to the above said factors we were able to increase the portfolio of government contracts and this tendency will undoubtedly keep during the next year.”

Looking at the results for the similar period of 2009, we can see that Sibirtelecom has increased the number of won competitions and concluded government contracts by 63%; the amount of the income has increased by 38.8%. The positive dynamics was a result of individual and more targeted work with corporate clients, as well as to the introduction of electronic tenders.

The implemented projects include providing customers with services of high speed Internet access, local and intra-zone communication, as well as the construction of protected VPN-networks that help optimize business processes, form network infrastructure with consideration of individual requirements of the business and authorities, and, as a consequence, provide the required range of services and quality communication services to the organizations.
