OREANDA-NEWS. February 22, 2011. In 2010 the Business-Credits Portfolio of “Unibank” Exceeded 48.4 milliard drams Having Surpassed the Index of 2009 by over 25%. As per the results of 2010 the portfolio of credits of “Unibank” given to small and medium business made 48.4 milliard drams thus exceeding the index of the previous year by 25%. The number of given business credits increased twice. This year the Bank has scheduled to increase the crediting volume by 10 milliard drams via development and launching new credit products and simplifying the access of customers to the Bank’s resourses, reported the press-centre of Unibank. 

“Small and medium business financing is the prerogative direction in the credit policy of “Unibank”. Depending on the business specificity customers are offered various options of co-operation. We endeavour to develop crediting conditions to be more convenient for customers irrespective of the activity sphere and size of organization. For example, for small business we have a product the coverage of which is not obligatory, physical or juridical person’s guarantee is enough. We always meet our customers’ requirements and allow preterm repayment of credit providing no restrictions and penalties”, said the Vice-Chairman of the Executive Board of “Unibank” Ara Avagyan.

Based on the results of market research and entrepreneurial demand, “Unibank” has developed two new credit products - “Uni-Express” and “Uni-Micro” – for small business development. According to the new products terms credits are provided for 48-month period in AMD, USD or EUR. The credit sum of “Uni-Express” product makes up to 3 million drams and “Uni-Micro” product – from 3 to 5 million drams. The interest rate is fixed 17-22% depending on the credit currency. One of the key conditions is that credit can be given to an organization or private enterpreneur from the production, trade or service sphere with activity duration not less that 3 months.
