OREANDA-NEWS. February 21, 2011. The UX spent most of Friday in negative territory after falling sharply in the first hour and clawing back throughout the day. The index finished up a marginal 0.05% to 2,889.30. Total turnover on the exchange, including derivatives, was UAH 322.6 mln. Ukrnafta (UNAF UK) was the center of attention during the session, rising 3.50% on UAH 67.0 mln in volume. Only two other blue chips closed up: Donbasenergo (DOEN UK), up 0.36%, and Ukrtelecom (UTLM UK), up 1.71%. Among the worst performers were Avdiivka Coke (AVDK UK), down 3.27%; Yenakiieve Steel (ENMZ UK), down 2.13%; and Stirol (STIR UK), down 1.96%.
