OREANDA-NEWS. February 21, 2011. Speaking at a press conference, VTB24’s President and Chairman of the Board Mikhail Zadornov said the bank was operating 5013 ATMs, 1112 of which can accept cash, and 1700 of which are available to customers round-the-clock. The bank added nearly 1000 ATMs in 2010, increasing the total to 4024 as of January 1, 2010, including 871 with cash-in function, reported the press-centre of VTB24.

The bank continues to work to increase the quality of its ATMs. Reliability (the percentage of time during which the device operates and serves customers) increased from 92.7% in January 2010 to 96% in December 2010 and continues to improve.

Operating a broad network of ATMs that accept cash means the bank can move more and more of its transactions to them. In December 2010, 69% of all cash deposits to card accounts were made using ATMs with cash-in function.
