Digital Office of Bank of Moscow Introduces New Bank Service Standards
OREANDA-NEWS. February 18, 2011. The Bank of Moscow has opened a new branch in a new format Ї a Digital Office (8, Tverskaya St., Moscow) where the combination of the latest information technologies, remote and interactive services change the traditional perception of bank services for both individual and corporate clients.
For the first time, the people of Moscow have round-the-clock access to the Bank’s main services.
The range of services provided by the Digital Office includes an automated self-service zone with 24/7 access to accounts, the possibility of making payments and transfers, and depositing sums on the accounts of third parties. If questions arise, advice can be obtained from a video-call centre at any time of the day or night. And an electronic “speaking assistant” explains about the Bank’s products and services.
The interactive self-service zone envisages a simplified procedure for applying for the Bank’s products and services without involvement of a staff member. The one-stop shop service cuts significantly the time required for payment and cash services and acquisition of banking products.
An automated depository allows individuals access to their rented safety-deposit boxes at all times and the nighttime depositor offers the opportunity of automated cash services for corporate clients on a 24/7 basis.
"It took four months to develop the project", notes Oksana Smirnova-Krell, Vice-President, Head of IT of the Bank of Moscow. "It was possible to implement the project so fast thanks to the Bank’s unique open integration platform - the Bank of Moscow’s "M-Bank" Automated Banking System. The business model of the Digital Office is unique in its simplicity and the possibility of being rapidly rolled out to the Bank’s entire network. This was made possible by the first and main step of the project consisting in creation of a special infrastructure for rolling out the innovative solutions introduced and tested by the Digital Office. In 2011, it is planned to roll out the solutions implemented within the scope of the project to the Bank’s branch network in Moscow and, as soon as they are technologically ready, to the Russian regions".
The Digital Office project was implemented in collaboration with the companies Europeum, CISCO, FinStream, Avaya, Oberon, AMT-GROUP, Onlinet and Alagard.
