OREANDA-NEWS. February 18, 2011. The gross added value created in the goods production sector in 2010 exceeded the level of 2009 by 7.8%, according to data of the National Statistics Bureau published. The contribution of the goods sector in the GDP formation in 2010 constituted 25.2% against 21.8% in 2009.

The gross value added created in the services sector grew 6.2% in 2010 compared to 2009 owing to the increase in the gross added value in transport and communication (by 11%), in retail and wholesale (by 8.9%), construction (7.3%), sector of other services (by 3.5%).

The contribution of the gross added value of the services sector in GDP formation in 2010 made up 63.9% against 60.2% in 2009. The national public budget receipts from taxes on products grew 9.9%. The share of taxes on produces in GDP formation accounted for 17.2% in 2010 against 16.7% in 2009. Final consumption grew 7.1% in 2010 compared to 2009 mostly owing to the 9% increase in final consumption of households.

Gross accumulation of the fixed capital went up 17.2%, having a 3.9% impact on the GDP growth. Export and import of goods and services in 2010 increased by 12.8% and 13.7%, respectively, against 2009. It should be noted that the Moldovan GDP in 2009 went down 6%, according to data published early this year.
