OREANDA-NEWS. February 17, 2011. A consignment of Siemens industrial equipment for Kaluga iron and steel plant has been delivered to Yug-2 multipurpose transshipping complex. The outsize cargo of 320 tons has been delivered to Ust-Luga by the Russian Volga-25 vessel from Rotterdam port.

The cargo will be sent to the customer by motor transport.

Apart from rolling machinery Yug-2 multipurpose transshipping complex has already received port equipment and construction materials for the needs of Ust-Luga port.

Yug-2 multipurpose transshipping complex is designed for transshipment of rolling cargoes, including new imported motor cars, container and general cargo. The first startup complex of the terminal was commissioned in June 2008. When the terminal reaches its design capacity, it will transship over 4.7 mln. tons of export-import cargo per year.
