OREANDA-NEWS. February 17, 2011. North Delhi Power (NDPL), a Tata Power and Government of Delhi joint venture company announced that Anil Kumar Choudhary, head, administration and HR, NDPL, has been conferred with the HR Leadership Award. The award was presented to recognise Mr Choudhary’s leadership and contribution in the field of HR. Bhaskar Chatterjee, secretary, department of public enterprises, Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises, Government of India, presented the award during the global HR awards ceremony at Taj Lands End, Mumbai.

The evaluation process for the awards involved an initial screening by an academic council, followed by a professional council and a final live presentation before a jury of esteemed national and international professionals.

 “The HR Leadership Award is not a personal achievement but is a testimony of our employee-centric approach and the entire HR team’s endeavour to put in best employee retention, growth, rewards and recognition, and welfare policies at NDPL,” said Mr Choudhary
