OREANDA-NEWS. February 16, 2011. China exported 3.12 million tons of steel products in January, an increase of 270,000 tons from December and up 8.2 percent from the same period last year; exported 190,000 tons of coke, up 400.7 percent.

China imported 1.64 million tons of steel, up 230,000 tons from the previous month and 21.6 percent year-on-year; 80,000 tons of steel billet, up 10,000 tons from December and 126.5 percent from a year earlier; and imported 68.97 million tons of iron ore, up 10.89 million tons and 47.9 percent respectively.
