OREANDA-NEWS. February 16, 2011. FAS Russia is considering a petition of “Barrikada” Production Association” OJSC (location: 9, Energetikov Avenue, St Petersburg, 195027; main activities – production of reinforced concrete products) on acquiring 100% voting shares of “Obukhovo Works for Construction Materials and Structures” (location: 29, Gruzovoi Proezd, Obukhovo, St Petersburg, 192289; main activities – production of reinforced concrete products), Registration No. 5189 of 3rd February 2011, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

The overall book value of the assets of the Buyer’s group of persons exceeds seven billion Rubles (as of 30th September 2010).

Governed by Article 33 of the Federal Law “On Protection of Competition”, FAS Russia considered the petition and extended the period for its consideration for two months in order to be able to obtain additional information for objective and comprehensive analysis of the transaction.

FAS Russia would like to state that all interested persons can present to the antimonopoly authority information as to how the transaction affect competition.
