The Ukrainian equity market opened the week with a gain; the UX rose 1.92% to 2,841.95. Total turnover on the UX, including derivatives, was UAH 386.2 mln. Most of the activity was focused on Ukrnafta (UNAF UK), which made 7.49% on UAH 102.0 mln in volume. Ukrainian banks got a boost yesterday with Ukrsotsbank (USCB UK) rising 1.43% and Raiffeisen Bank Aval (BAVL UK) putting on 1.25%. On the other side of the ledger, closing lower were Stakhaniv Wagon (SVGZ UK), down 1.86%; Dniproenergo (DNEN UK), down 1.16%; and Ukrtelecom (UTLM UK), down 1.10%.
